Your way to us

Found the right job offer? Perfect! We value transparency, so you can find out what happens next here! Our FAQs will support you.

1. Step: Application

Take the opportunity to show us what you are made of. You decide how - e.g. in the form of a CV or motivation letter.

When is the best time for my application?

Our group of companies recruits on a continuous basis and is therefore not bound to fixed recruitment phases. Taking into account your personal notice period, we kindly ask you to apply at short notice.

How should I apply?

To ensure a fast application process, we prefer your application via our online form. To do so, click on the "Apply now" button within your selected job advertisement. Here you will find further information on uploading.

Once your application has been completed, you will automatically receive an e-mail confirming receipt of your application.

How long does the online application take?

Provided you have prepared your documents, you will need a maximum of 5-10 minutes to submit your application via our online form.

I have applied for a job. What happens now and when can I expect to hear back?

After uploading your application documents, you will receive a confirmation of receipt. We review your documents and coordinate with the managers from the specialist departments. We will try to contact you as soon as possible after receiving your application. Please understand that it may take a little longer for positions that are particularly in demand.

2. Step: Interview

Prepare yourself, ask your questions and be yourself. Because the interview is primarily about getting to know each other.

I was invited for an interview. What can I expect?

In an initial interview, you will speak with a member of our HR department and the manager. We get to talking: We tell you what you can look forward to in our company. You report on your previous professional experience, your skills and your motivation. The participation of the manager gives the interview a professional focus. Therefore, prepare yourself for professional questions.

If necessary, a second interview may take place with the head of the department or the management. You will find out who will ultimately take part in good time before the interview.

For apprenticeships and dual study programmes, a 1.5 to 2.5 hour recruitment test is usually scheduled before the interview. This includes questions on general knowledge, language skills and logical thinking. Depending on the results, a personal interview will follow on site.

How can I prepare for the interview?

In the interview, we want to get to know you as a person and find out whether you fit the position and us. Questions about your personal background, your skills, your motivation and your and our expectations will also be discussed.

You are welcome to ask us your questions in the interview so that you can take away as much as possible from the discussions and make a good decision at the end.

If you are invited to take a recruitment test, we recommend that you practise exercises in the areas of language, logical thinking, geography and mathematics in advance.

Help! I'm having technical problems and can't get into the video interview at the moment.

Don't worry! Reply to the invitation letter. There you will also find a telephone contact to get in touch with us personally. Together we will find a solution, e.g. by arranging a new appointment.

3. Step: Feedback

If you like what you experience with us and we like what you bring to the table, we look forward to working together.

What happens after the final interview?

You will receive a final response as soon as possible - we will usually let you know the expected duration after the interview has been completed. If you have any specific questions, please feel free to contact our HR department at any time.

In the meantime, I have received an offer from another company. What should I do?
We are pleased that you are looking around in a versatile way. Nevertheless, we kindly ask you to inform us transparently in this case in order to find a common solution.

Further FAQ's

We have not been able to answer all your questions? The following FAQ's can help here.

What documents should I submit as part of my application?

Every application is treated with equal care and appreciation. It is important to us that you have looked into our company and can tell us why you would like to be part of our team. In order to gain a first impression of you, we require a meaningful CV from you as well as a covering letter or letter of motivation. Some job requirements need additional documents. These are marked as mandatory fields in the respective online application form.

Can I apply for several jobs at one location if they sound exciting to me?

You are welcome to apply for several positions. We are happy for you to apply for the positions that match your skills and passion.

I have applied before. Can I apply again?

If you want to apply again for the same positions and your last application was at least 6 months ago, we look forward to receiving your new application. You are also welcome to apply for other positions.

I know someone at ABC/SPAX. Can my acquaintances recommend me?

Feel free to refer to your personal acquaintances in your application.

How do I apply for an internship or a working student position?

In principle, the application for an internship or a working student position is no different from a general application. Nevertheless, it helps us a lot if you send us the following information at least one month before the desired start date: Desired period of the internship or working student position, desired area/department, (high) school certificate and, if you have work experience, various references.

How is my data processed?

Our group of companies attaches great importance to the security of your data and compliance with data protection regulations.

In the event of a rejection, your data will be deleted after 6 months. In the event that you have agreed to further storage of your personal data, we will transfer it to our talent pool for a further 2 years.

For further information, please refer to our data protection information for applicants. These are available for download here.

Can I see the current status of my application?

Unfortunately, this is not possible. However, please be assured that we will carefully review each application and get back in touch with you as soon as possible to inform you about the current status of your application. Alternatively, you are welcome to contact us by phone, for example.

What does a rejection for a particular job mean for any other open application processes?

A rejection always refers to the respective position. Other application processes are not affected by this decision.

How can I withdraw my application?

We regret that you have changed your mind, but we respect your decision. Please inform us of your decision by replying to the confirmation of receipt of your application. You are welcome to tell us the reason for your decision.

I have an idea on how to improve the application process. Are criticism and suggestions for improvement welcome?

We can only answer with a resounding YES. Because we also want to improve and develop further. Your feedback is welcome - even if you don't choose us in the end. Write us an e-mail at: jobs@spax.com.
We ask you to be constructive and to formulate the request for improvement as concretely as possible.
